Babbacombe
Situated on top of the distinctive red sandstone cliffs sits the charming village of Babbacombe with its stunning sea views along the promenade, individual shops, great sea food and water sports. Steeped in history and a sense of a bygone era, the Babbacombe cliff railway is a popular attraction, providing passengers with spectacular views as it travels up and down the 240 ft cliff face to Oddicombe beach
Shaldon
Shaldon is a must visit, a traditional fishing village situated on the South Devon coast across the Teign estuary and opposite the resort of Teignmouth. With the estuary and open sea providing a choice of waters, there are plenty of water sports and activities to enjoy and learn, or you may like to take one of the many boat trips available for a little fishing or just sightseeing. For more nautical fun, the Shaldon Water Carnival is the oldest running regatta in the world.
Torquay
There is something for everyone in Torquay and you don't need to be a surfer! There are a vast number of attractions to keep you entertained, to include the world famous Agatha Christie Trail, Torre Abbey & Gardens, boat trips around the bay and to nearby Dartmouth, Bygones plus the amazing Kents Cavern, one of Europe's top prehistoric Stone Age caves.
